LDM Church Ministries Team
All of the LDM team are connected with the ongoing ministry of their local church, some as staff members. Our Intentional Disciple-making Church (IDC) Process, Tailor Made Training (TMT) and The 2:7 Series are used by churches to keep discipling at the heart of their mission.
Intentional Disciplemaking Church Process (IDC)
The Intentional Disciplemaking Church (IDC) Process provides coaching for church leaders, helping them to enable their churches to become more intentional about disciplemaking.
Jan McCuin, The IDC Coordinator says, ‘My that’s a mouthful’ I can hear you saying! But having worked with five pilot churches over the last two years through this Intentional Disciplemaking Church (IDC) Process, I’ve seen that it ‘does what it says on the tin'.
Intentional - focusing all the ministries of a local church on the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations… baptising… teaching them to obey… Go! Don’t just assume people are growing in their faith.
Disciplemaking - helping people grow in their faith and then passing on what they know to others, as in 2 Timothy 2:2: And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.
Church - It’s about the people - both gathered and scattered - not buildings. Process - not just offering Bible studies and programmes but coaching leaders and the whole church community through a process where they realise they are the resource God uses to reach and equip others.

The 2:7 Series
The 2:7 Series is a discipleship course designed for use in small groups within churches.
It gets its name from Colossians 2:7 where Paul urges the Christians in the town of Colosse to be:
* rooted in Christ
* built up in Christ
* strengthened in the faith
* overflowing with thankfulness to God
It is a flexible programme of four courses, each lasting 10 or 11 weeks, for small groups in churches. Individual preparation and group participation combine together to give an unusually strong learning experience. The series lasts long enough to build habit-forming patterns in living for Christ. New believers gain direction and stability in their new life in Christ; experienced believers find their faith underpinned, refreshed and renewed.
