Interest in Intentional Disciplemaking Church (IDC) despite weather!
18th February 2010
Early in January, at the invitation of a Baptist Church, Jan McCuin traveled 15 miles west of Newcastle to explain the IDC process to their Leaders. Despite driving in snowy conditions in temperatures of -4C, which also prevented half the Elders getting to the meeting, the information on the IDC process was received with interest and enthusiasm!
Since then the information has permeated the church. They have adopted 'Intentional Discipleship' as their main aim for the year and have invited Jan back to lead them in a 'weekend at home' in May to think further about 'Making Disciples' and 'Intentionality'.
The photos below were taken through the window where they were meeting!
